Abstract :
At the beginning of 2020, the world was shocked by a new outbreak called the corona virus (COVID19) which has spread to almost all countries. Many countries to close schools. School closures have also occurred in Indonesia. at least 646,200 schools ranging from PAUD to tertiary institutions were closed. The closure of schools in Indonesia resulted in 4.2 million teachers and 68.8 million students conducting teaching and learning activities boldly. However, not a few schools have obstacles such as the lack of ability of teachers and students in using technology. One of the problems is at Madrasah Islamiyah Darwata Karangasem. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of readiness of MIS Darwata Karangasem for the implementation of E-Larning which consists of four indicators of readiness, namely teachers, technology, school culture and students, as well as providing recommendations for schools to be more ready in implementing distance learning. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis with e-readiness model. The sample in this study consisted of 51 students and 9 teachers. The result of this study is the readiness to implement e-learning as distance learning has a total ELR score of xÌ…= 3.63225. While the scores of the four indicators that affect readiness are as follows: teacher readiness gets a score of x = 3.79167, school culture readiness gets a score of xÌ…= 3.64814, student readiness has a score of x = 3.57026, and technology readiness has a score of xÌ…= 3 ,48148.Based on the Aydin&Tasci scale, the indicator is categorized as ready but needs a little improvement. By providing training to teachers and principals on an ongoing basis, increasing school speed, increasing school budgets to implement e-learning, holding regular social service activities.
