Abstract :
The increasing climate change in urban areas which tends to get hotter has led to increased
use of air conditioning among the public. Continuous use of air conditioning can have a negative
impact on skin health, one of which is the skin becoming dry or not moist. To reduce this impact
without stopping the use of air conditioning, the use of a humidifier is highly recommended for
air-conditioned rooms. In this study, the ESP32 which has been connected to a DHT11 sensor
is used as a microcontroller that will monitor changes in temperature and humidity in an airconditioned room with a humidifier, a device that acts as a humidifier by spraying water vapor
into the air. The temperature parameter used in the room so that the skin does not dry out is 18-
22oC. This study uses a vulnerable time of 14 days when using a humidifier in an air-conditioned
room to treat dry skin. The change in the condition of the skin to become moist is shown by
measuring the moisture content of the skin using a Skin Analyzer which shows the skin moisture
percentage of 43-46%. Increasingly moisturized skin is less scaly.
