Abstract :
The researcher conducted a research on e-voting for the election of the chairman of the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School Dukuhwaluh-Purwokerto based on a website aimed at switching the function of manual elections to elections by utilizing a digital system. In addition, this website-based e-voting research aims to facilitate the performance of the General Election Commission (KPU) in managing the election results for the chairman of the Darussalam Islamic Boarding School Dukuhwaluh-Purwokerto. In this study, the researcher used three methods that became the basis for writing and collecting data, namely the method of observation, interviews, and libraries so that the research results were in accordance with the expected needs. Then PHP is the programming language used in this research, MySQL as the database and Xampp for the research web server. As for the system testing using the Black-Box Testing technique, from the results of the tests that have been carried out that the Web-Based E-voting Application Design (Case Study: Pondok Pesantren Darussalam Dukuhwaluh-Purwokerto) should be used and needed because it is in accordance with the existing functions in the election of the head of the Islamic Boarding School. The output of this research can be implemented in the election of the chairman of the Darussalalam Islamic Boarding School Dukuhwaluh-Purwokerto by adjusting the system first so that the parties concerned can easily use the system that has been researched.
