Abstract :
Internet becomes the open space for everyone to get information. YouTube is one of the most popular social media used by people in Indonesia. YouTube also a social media to share video freely and is open for public. President Joko Widodo use YouTube as a tool to give information to the public and receive positive also negative matter. There fore, the purpose of this study is to determine whether there is impact and how much impact President Joko Widodo?s YouTube channel content through the reputation development towards public?s positive and negative perception. This research was conducted by distributing question naire to 115 respondents who are the member of Ini kerjaku community. The research method used is aquantitative method with path analysis. The results show that President Joko Widodo?s YouTube channel content has a significant and strong direct impact towards public?s positive and negative perception, President Joko Widodo?s YouTube channel content has positive significant impact towards reputation development and reputation development has positive significant impact towards public?s positive and negative perception (non-direct impact, using mediation).
