Abstract :
The progress of science and information technology is so rapid that it also has an impact on the world of homestay rental services, can be seen by the number of web and homestay rental services applications. Likewise with homestay rental services that move to accommodate customers in choosing a place to stay. However, homestay rental services have a place to make all activities of foreign and local tourists well organized. Therefore, research is conducted by making interviews to maximize the needs of homestay rental services and also accommodate tourists to be easier in choosing homestays. Therefore, it is necessary to design a web-based homestay rental service application to be able to accommodate that information, and make it easier for consumers to find the desired homestay. The research methodology in developing this system uses RAD (Rapid Application Development) with rapid analysis and design processes, software development, testing and implementation. Designing models using UML (Unified Modeling Language) includes use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams. Keywords: Rental, homestay, Reservations Kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi informasi yang demikian pesat ternyata berdampak pula bagi dunia jasa penyewaan homestay, dapat dilihat dengan banyaknya web dan aplikasi jasa penyewaan homestay. Begitupula dengan jasa penyewaan homestay yang bergerak untuk mewadahi customer dalam memilih tempat untuk menginap. Namun jasa penyewaan homestay memiliki wadah untuk membuat segala aktifitas turis asing maupun lokal tersusun dengan baik. Maka dari itu, dilakukanlah penelitian dengan cara membuat wawancara untuk memaksimalkan keperluan dari jasa penyewaan homestay dan juga mewadahi para turis agar lebih mudah dalam memilih homestay. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan perancangan aplikasi jasa penyewaan homestay berbasis web untuk dapat menampung informasi tersebut, dan mempermudah konsumen untuk mencari homestay yang di inginkan. Metodologi penelitian dalam pengembangan sistem ini menggunaka RAD (Rapid Application Development) Perancangan model menggunakan UML (Unified Modeling Language) meliputi diagram use case, diagram activity, diagram sequence dan diagram class.
