Reduced Main LO Pump performance in the machine's lubrication system can be indicated by decreasing the pressure of lubricating oil produced by the pump to supply to the host machine. The decrease in pressure is caused by damage to the pump components. In this case the authors want to describe the problem analysis of the decline in lubricant pressure Main LO Pump.
The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with USG method. Where method is a way to arrange the order of priority issues to be solved by determining the level of urgency, seriousness, to the development of the problem. The sample in this study used a random sample method that is to divide the respondent proportionally between the number of respondents with the number of classes that is there to be 12 respondents per class. Data collection in this study using the division of questionnaires to Taruna. The data collection technique is done through observation, documentation and literature study directly on the subject related to the influence of Main Lo Pump pressure on the parent machine.
There are many causes of component damage on Main LO Pump resulting in decreased lubricating system in MT.Sinar Jogya, from the cause is analyzed to find the basic cause. At MT.Sinar Jogya, Main LO Pump's performance decline is caused by dirty filter due to lack of routine cleaning and mechanical sealing leaks due to lack of maintenance or checking on pump components.
From abstraction above the writer can conclude that not optimal Main LO Pump caused by several factors such as dirty filter due to lack of routine cleaning and mechanical seal leak due to lack of maintenance or checking on pump components.
