Abstract :
ABSTRAKSI Octa Sakti Dwi Prasetya, NIT. 51145482.T, 2019 ? Analisa menurunnya kerja evaporator pada mesin refrigerator di MV. PRINCESS?, Program Diploma IV, Teknika, Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang, Pembimbing I: Sarifuddin, M.Pd, M.Mar.E dan Pembimbing II: Andri Yulianto, M.T. Mesin pendingin adalah suatu rangkaian-rangkaian permesinan bantu yang mampu bekerja untuk menghasilkan suhu atau temperatur dingin. Refrigerator mempunyai 4 komponen utama yaitu Compresor, Condensor, Expansi Valve, dan Evaporator. Refrigerator sendiri memiliki peranan yang sangat penting yaitu mengawetkan bahan makanan agar dapat bertahan lebih lama. Metode penelitian yang penulis gunakan dalam penyusunan skripsi ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dalam hal ini penulis menggunakan metode SWOT sebagai teknik analisa data untuk menganalisa masalah dan menentukan strategi dan menggunakan metode Hazop. Adapun rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah faktor yang mengakibatkan menurunnya kerja pada evaporator, dampak yang ditimbulkan akibat menurunnya kerja evaporator, upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi menurunnya kerja evaporator pada mesin refrigerator. Dari hasil penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa penyebab menurunnya kerja evaporator pada mesin refrigerator adalah adanya kebocoran freon dari sistem dan gangguan pada dryer. Dampak yang ditimbulkan dari faktor menurunnya kerja evaporator yaitu terjadinya bunga es dan busuknya bahan makanan. Upaya yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan strategi W-T (Weakness-Threat) yaitu melakukan pemeriksan dan perbaikan pada pipa yang bocor dan melakukan standart perawatan dan perbaikan sesuai dengan manual book sehingga evaporator dapat kembali bekerja dengan optimal dan dapat mencapai suhu yang diinginkan. The cooling machine is a series of auxiliary machining machines capable of working to produce cold temperatures or temperatures. Refrigerator has 4 main components namely Compressor, Condenser, Expansion Valve, and Evaporatore. Refrigerator itself has a very important role that is preserving food in order to survive longer. The research method that the author uses in the preparation of this paper is a qualitative descriptive research method. In this case the author uses the SWOT method as a data analysis technique to analyze problems and determine strategies and use the Hazop method. The formulation of the problem from this study is the factor that resulted in a decrease in the work on the evaporator, the impact caused by the declining work of the evaporator, efforts made to overcome the decreasing work of the evaporator on the refrigerator engine. From the results of this study it was concluded that the cause of the declining work of the evaporator on the refrigerator engine was the presence of freon leakage from the system and interference with the dryer. The impact of the decreasing factor of the evaporator's work is the occurrence of frost and rotten food ingredients. Efforts are made using the W-T (Weakness-Threat) strategy, which is checking and repairing leaking pipes and carrying out standard maintenance and repairs in accordance with the manual book so that the evaporator can resume working optimally and can reach the desired temperature.
