Cargo oil pump is an auxiliary machine used on tankers to move each
load. If there is a disruption to the cargo oil pump, it will cause losses, delays
during loading and unloading and will cause big losses to the company. The
purpose of this study aims to find out how to make and how loading and
unloading works with a cargo oil pump on a tanker.
This study uses the research and development method regarding the
design system when loading and unloading crude oil with a cargo oil pump, as
well as the workings and benefits of a cargo oil pump. Methods of observation,
literature, documentation, data analysis, and design validation are used as data
collection methods in this study.
The process of making loading and unloading designs with COP on
tankers begins with conducting a preliminary study in the form of observations
during prala at MT. Griya Cirebon. The process of making the ship's framework is
carried out assembling, product testing and followed by revisions regarding the
sensors. For the benefits of the design for loading and unloading crude oil with a
cargo oil pump on tankers, it is a learning tool regarding the process of loading
and unloading crude oil on tankers. Suggestions for use in this design is that this
problem is carried out not only to be applied to the loading and unloading system
of crude oil with a cargo oil pump on tankers but can be applied to the shipping
industry whose work intersects with loading and unloading of crude oil on
tankers. Then the important process to do is to make the initial concept of the
design model that will be made.
