OKKY BAYU MAHENDRA, 2016, NIT: 49124361.N. “Ship’s Control Maneuvering AHTS. Dian Radiance when Cargo Operation on FSO Gagak Rimangâ€. Thesis Nautical Studies Program Diploma IV, Semarang Merchant Marine Polytechnic January 2017, Supervisor I: Capt. Arika Palapa, M.Mar, Supervisor II: Tri Kismantoro, M.M. When we do cargo operation on FSO (Floating Storage and Offloading), Vessel must do maneuvering near to FSO, Vessel maintain her position and cargo operation, either discharge cargo to FSO (offload) or loading cargo from FSO (backload) is done by crane FSO. This research is done on AHTS Dian Radiance is owned by PT. DBS (Dian Bahari Sejati) when during writer do sea project. Data resources is obtained from analyzing the internal and external factor that effect maneuverability of vessel when doing cargo operation on FSO, then to solve the possible problems is done by using Internal Strategic Factors Analysis Summary (IFAS), External Strategic Factors Analysis Summary (EFAS) and Strength Weakness Opportunities Threats (SWOT) Strength and probabilities that owned are used to solve existing weakness and threats. SWOT analysis would result the strategy how to make a good process of maneuver when do cargo operation on FSO so that cargo operation could proceed safely and smoothly.
