Ontari ", minithesis Nautical Departement Studies, Program Diploma IV, Merchant Marine Polytechnic Semarang, Supervisor I : Capt. Suherman, M.Mar Supervisor II: Henny Wahyu, W., M.Pd The tanker is one of the marine transportation that use to transporting liquid cargo or cargo of oil crops. Along with the development of technology, the tanker itself has developed in terms of loading and discharge equipment. This must be balanced with the human resources capable of carrying out the operation and maintenance to maintain the condition of loading and discharge equipment. In the process of discharge, often occur several obstacles in its later discharge being formulated within a few problems, as for problems has finded is include how implementation discharging and why happen not fluency in process of discharging and to know the implementation of maintenance management at MT. Ontari. By using qualitative research methods, obtained the findings that the discharging in MT. Ontari experienced a not fluency due to several factors and implementation maintenance management process that includes planning, actuating, and controlling still experiencing problems.
