Abstract :
Every construction project requires heavy equipment for several types of work, but does not cover all types of heavy equipment available. Heavy equipment can be selected according to the needs of the work and field conditions. As in the SMPN 7 Mengwi Construction project which has excavation activities, it is necessary to use the Sany PC-75 excavator as the main heavy equipment, and the Dump Truck as an auxiliary tool to move the excavated soil. One interesting topic to note in detail in the use of this heavy equipment is productivity. Where productivity is a measure of the success of a project. In this study, the productivity of the use of excavators used in the field will be analyzed. The results of the productivity of the Sany PC-75 Excavator heavy equipment were 55.63 M3L / Hour and the results of the Dump Truck productivity were 27.55 M3L / Hour, for the implementation time of the Sany PC-75 Excavator heavy equipment it took 9.67 hours or 1 day of implementation, when compared to the conditions in the field, the excavation work took 4 days. and the total cost of heavy equipment was (Rp. 13,682,290.96) Keywords: Heavy Equipment, Excavator, Productivity, Cost, Time
