Abstract :
The calculation of the volume of work is one of the critical points in preparing a budget
plan, both in the planning stage and the implementation stage. The miscalculation of the volume of
work will be fatal due to the discrepancy of the volume of the calculation of work with the realized
volume in the field. Errors at the time of calculation can occur from for example: arithmetic errors,
namely addition, multiplication, division, and comma number format. [4]. The current development
of construction is not only in sophisticated implementation tools, in terms of supporting applications
it has also experienced significant developments, this development is the presence of BIM (Building
Information Modelling). BIM is an application method that supports the entire design phase,
allowing for better analysis and control of manual processes. Upon completion, the created model
will contain the geometry and accurate data needed to support construction, fabrication, and
procurement activities in order to realize the building [5]. So that the above mistakes can be
prevented. From the results of the analysis and discussion, the difference in volume in pile work was
obtained, which was 1%, in concrete work it was obtained 4.21%, and in the finishing work it was
obtained 10.02%.
