Abstract :
In every building construction work, it will not be separated from one of its main components, namely materials. The availability of materials as an important component in a construction project has a relationship with the project cost budget. So that indirectly plays an important role in supporting the success of the project. However, in every implementation of a building construction project, the appearance of leftover materials will be inevitable. In the construction project of the ASPOL SANGLAH Flat Building, there are many leftover materials in the implementation of construction that have an impact on the project itself. This research aims to analyse the dominant material waste by using Pareto diagram, and to find out the causes of material waste by using fault tree analysis (FTA). From the calculation of the Pareto diagram, the dominant construction material waste is obtained, namely cement, screw iron, ready mix k-350, terracotta 30x60 ceramics, interior wall paint.
