Abstract :
The development of the construction world has resulted in an increase in the need for heavy equipment in construction projects. Excavation and embankment work is carried out using heavy equipment. Currently, heavy equipment is an indispensable resource in construction projects, because it can make it easier for humans to complete work on time. This study aims to determine the effect of the Hour Meter on the productivity and unit price of the PC78 Excavator Backhoe. This study uses descriptive - quantitative methods, so data analysis is the process of calculating, processing, and descriptive explanations based on data collected through interviews or conducting surveys in the field. The conclusion of the calculation and analysis The productivity of the PC 78 Excavator Backhoe is influenced by the hour meter and operator experience. The influence of Hour Meter and Operator Experience will slow down the performance of the tool. From the analysis results obtained a comparison of productivity, namely Excavator Backhoe PC 78 Hour Meter 5509.6 (62.24 m3L/hour), Excavator Backhoe PC 78 Hour Meter 7024.0 (51.83 m3L/hour), Excavator Backhoe PC 78 Hour Meter 8021 ,7 (44.50 m3L/H), Excavator Backhoe PC 78 Hour Meter 8032.0 (45.23 m3L/H), Excavator Backhoe PC 78 Hour Meter 9503.0 (34.76 m3L/H). Work Unit Prices for each heavy equipment Excavator Backhoe PC 78, namely Excavator Backhoe PC 78 Hour Meter 5509.6 (Rp6.413/hour), Excavator Backhoe PC 78 Hour Meter 7024.0 (Rp 7.606/hour) , Excavator Backhoe PC 78 Hour Meter 8021.7 (7.308), , Excavator Backhoe PC 78 Hour Meter 8032,0 (Rp7.006), Excavator Backhoe PC 78 Hour Meter 9503,0 (Rp8.354).Based on the results of calculations and analysis that HSP is influenced by tool productivity (Hour Meter and operator experience) so that this causes the performance of the machine to be less effective Key Words : Hour Meter, Exavator Backhoe PC 78, Productivity, HSP (work unit price)
