Abstract :
Energy auditing is an effort or activity to identify the type and magnitude of energy used by each part of the operation of an industry or factory or building and try to identify possible energy savings. There are some industries and hotels that think that this energy audit is less important, but this is the key to an industry or hotel to be able to control the use of electrical energy and be able to reduce energy use in the future. In this study, the authors collected data on energy use to be processed in an energy audit so that we can find out the place audited by the author is classified as efficient or wasteful. From the results of this audit, the author can also provide advice to third parties in energy saving efforts. The results of this study include energy use in one year, the total cost of energy use, the amount of Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) value, a comparative analysis of energy use with guest housing data, and provides energy saving opportunities. The following are the results of the study, one of the hotels in the Sanur area that the author studied has an Energy Consumption Intensity value of 109.35 kWh / m2 years which is classified as efficient in accordance with existing standards.
