Abstract :
The role of the foundation in the construction of building structures is very important, so good planning is needed to choose the appropriate type of foundation in order to facilitate the work process of a building. Theimplementation of foundation work that is easy to do in the field will affect the costs incurred, so the selection of the use of the type of foundation must be based on accessibility and workability in order to get good, optimal and efficient planning. The type of foundation used in the Secana Beachtown development project is the borpile foundation. The purpose of this study is to find out which is the right foundation to use in the Secana Beachtown project in terms of cost, and to find out what type of foundation is more feasible to use in terms of the situation and conditions on site. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis. The result of this study is that in terms of costs, the borpile foundation is more efficiently used because the cost required is 14% cheaper when compared to the spun pile foundation, for the price of the spun pile foundation based on RAB is Rp. 759.507.786,18 while the borpile foundation based on the RAB is Rp. 578,177,448.00. The use of the borpile foundation in the Secana Beachtown project is more appropriate when viewed from the impact caused by the process of working on the pile foundation. Because around the Secana Beachtown Project is an area that has been filled with hotels or villas, mobilization and demobilization are difficult.
