Abstract :
Mental development of the elderly is influenced by various factors such as social relations, social environment, psychological factors, and social activities. This study aims to determine the relationship between family support and mental health and the quality of life of the elderly in Desa Bagelen, Kecamatan Gedong Tataan, and Kabupaten Pesawaran. The research design used a correlation study with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used was multistage random sampling and the sample consisted of 95 people. The results showed that there was a relationship between family support and the mental health of the elderly with a p-value of 0.001. The results of the study also showed that there was a relationship between family support and the quality of life for the elderly with a p-value of 0.002.
