Abstract :
Baground : The impact of a rupture that is not handled properly can inhibit wound healing and cause infection. The impact that occurs when wound healing is delayed can cause discomfort such as pain and a fear of moving so that it can cause many problems such as lochea that is not smooth and post-partum bleeding. Destination: Midwifery care was carried out by applying a decoction of binahong leaves to accelerate the healing of perineal wounds in postpartum mothers at the Hj Kartini Clinic (Nurhamidah)Purpose: In this study, it is known the effect of the effectiveness of boiled water from binahong leaves on the healing of perineal wounds in postpartum mothers at the Hj Kartini Clinic (Nurhamidah) Method: The method of midwifery care used is using a 7-step survey management and documented in the form of SOAP. The object of this research is perineal wound healing and binahong leaf decoction. The study was conducted in March 2022 at the Hj Kartini clinic, Bandar Lampung. Research result: The results showed that from the observations obtained data that the perineal sutures for postpartum mothers healed and dried up within 5-7 days postpartum and there were no signs of infection.
