Abstract :
This research entitled Influence of Student Facilitator Method And Explaining To
Student Interest On Biology Class XI MAN 1 Palembang. This study aims to find
out the Application of Student Facilitator and Explain Method and Its Influence
on Student Learning Interest in Biology Subject Class XI MAN 1 Palembang.
This research design uses Nonequivalent Control Group Design with quasi
experimental design method. The sample of this research was 56 students. Based
on the results of student interest analysis showed that the implementation of
learning using Student Facilitator and Explaining method was better than learning
by discussion method. This can be seen from the hypothesis test calculation with
(t-test) show as big as 3,493> 2,005, meaning that tcount is bigger than ttable, Ha
is accepted and H0 is rejected. The result of the analysis of the average increase of
mastery of learning interest in the experimental class students reaches 90%, while
the indicator of students 'interest in the control class is 82.25% which means that
the students' learning interest in the experimental class is better than the control
class. So, it can be concluded that the method of learning Student Facilitator and
Explaining influence on student learning interest in MAN 1 Palembang.
