Abstract :
This research investigated the reading habit among students of English Education study program at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The objective of this research was to find out the description of students reading habit among English Education at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. The design of this research was a survey method. The researcher used convenience sampling to selecting the sample. The subject of this research was the students of English Education year 2016. The population in this research was 128 participants. The sample of this research was 64 students. For the collecting data, the researcher used questionnaire. The reading habits questionnaire consisted 20 items. The result of this research based on the result of students reading habit questionnaire, it can be stated that the students of English Education year 2016 at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang was good with 76.56%. So, the result indicated that the reading habit among students of English Education at UIN Raden Fatah Palembang was good.
