Abstract :
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendapatan premi, hasil investasi, dan beban klaim terhadap laba pada perusahaan Asuransi yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2020. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan asuransi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2016-2020. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 9 perusahaan asuransi yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode dokumentasi dan regresi data panel dengan menggunakan program komputer Eviews 10. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bawah Pendapatan Premi tidak berpengaruh terhadap laba perusahaan asuransi yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2020, Hasil Investasi berpengaruh positif terhadap laba perusahaan asuransi yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2020, Beban Klaim berpengaruh terhadap laba perusahaan asuransi yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2016-2020. Kata kunci : Pendapatan Premi, Hasil Investasi, Beban Klaim ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of premium income, investment returns, and claims expense on profits at insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population in this study are insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2016-2020. The sample of this research is 9 insurance companies selected by purposive sampling technique. The type of data used in this research is secondary data. The data collection method used is the documentation method and panel data regression using the Eviews 10 computer program. The results of this study show that Premium Income has no effect on the profits of insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020, Investment Returns have a positive effect on the profits of insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020, Claim Expenses affect the profits of insurance companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020.
