Abstract :
ABSTRAK Latar belakang: ASI eksklusif adalah pemberian ASI atau air susu ibu untuk bayi sejak baru lahir hingga berumur 6 bulan tanpa digantikan oleh minuman serta makanan lain. Manfaat ASI salah satunya dapat mencegah terjadinya infeksi yaitu kosntipasi. Edukasi tentang pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi ,1 bulan sangat penting dilakukan untuk membantu mencegah terjadinya kostipasi pada bayi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis prevalensi kejadian pengaruh edukasi dalam pemberian ASI eksklusif untuk mencegah kejadian konstipasi pada bayi < 1 bulan di wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Olak Kemang Kota Jambi. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif, Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di wilayah kerja puskesmas Olak Kemang Kota Jambi pada Tanggal 13-16 Mei 2024. dengan satu orang responden yang memiliki kriteria ibu dengan bayi < 1 bulan. Dengan menggunakan alat ukur google form pada responden untuk melihat tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI eklusif dan konstipasi Hasil: Hasil pre dan post test terhadap Ny. D menunjukan sebelum dan sesudah diberikannya edukasi mendapatkan nilai dari hasil pretest dengan skor 30 kategori (kurang baik) dan tahapan post test dengan skor (kategori cukup baik). Kesimpulan: pengetahuan responden meningkan setelah diberikan edukasi pemberian ASI eksklusif untuk mencegah konstipasi pada bayi <1 bulan. Saran: diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai sumber informasi atau acuan mengenai pentingnya pemberian ASI ekslusif untuk mencegah konstipasi pada bayi <1 bulan. Objective: This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the prevalence of the influence of education in providing exclusive breastfeeding to prevent constipation in babies < 1 month old in the Olak Kemang Community Health Center working area, Jambi City. Method: This type of research is descriptive. This research was carried out in the work area of the Olak Kemang Community Health Center, Jambi City on 13-16 May 2024. with one respondent who had the criteria of being a mother with a baby < 1 month old. By using a Google Form measuring tool on respondents to see the mother's level of knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding and constipation Results: Pre and post test results for Mrs. D shows that before and after the education was provided, the score was obtained from the pretest results with a score of 30 categories (not good) and the post test stage with a score (fairly good category). Conclusion: Respondents' knowledge increased after being given education on exclusive breastfeeding to prevent constipation in babies <1 month old. Suggestion: It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as a source of information or reference regarding the importance of exclusive breastfeeding to prevent constipation in babies <1 month old.
