Abstract :
Hotel is a place that serves food, beverage, lodging, as well as other
services according to technological developments and needs (Sambodo 2006). ).
There are several continuous departments, namely: Front Office, Human
Resources, Engineering, Accounting & Finance, Sales & Marketing,
Housekeeping, Food & Beverage Product, etc. In achieving the company's
goals, the relationship and communication between each employee is important.
Therefore, it is necessary for someone to manage work efficiency to maximize
the goal. The application of leadership style has a major influence on the work
of a department in a hotel.
This final project research aims to analyze aspects of situational
leadership and the implementation of situational leadership style in the Front
Office Department of Plataran Canggu Bali Resort & Spa. This study uses a
qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observation and
literature study. The results of the data will be processed with the stages of
reduction, analysis, and drawing conclusions. After that, in the last chapter,
conclusions and recommendations will be presented.
