Abstract :
Social discrimination is still happening until these days by seeing race, skin color, and blood line. This social discrimination is interestingly packaged through metaphor story in a movie; Fantastic Beast The Crime of Grindelwald. Thus through this study the writer is interested to conduct discussion which have objective in order to find the representation of social class discrimination in the movie Fantastic Beast The Crime of Grindelwald. In this study the writer used descriptive qualitative method to answer the research question. The writer also uses social class discrimination theory by Karl Marx and cinematography theory by Petrie and Boggs. Sociology of literature approach is also used as the most appropriate approach to conduct this study. At the end of the discussion, the writer concludes that the social class discrimination is represented through two categories; the first is social life discrimination, the second is law discrimination. Meanwhile, these social discriminations are clearly represented through the cinematography used by the director such as the used of camera angles, sounds, and lighting.
