Abstract :
Culture is a broad expression involving various aspects of social life, primarily intangible. Culture is separate from society's social structures and economic components but is interrelated, informing and being informed by them. This thesis aims to show that culture will represent who you are. The researcher uses a descriptive qualitative method specializing in sentences, phrases, and paragraphs related to Korean culture inside the novel. This study also applies the representation theory by Stuart Hall and sociological approach by Alan Swingewood. First, retrieve primary data from the novel P.S I Still Love You by Jenny Han 2015, then support data from journals, books, and articles related to the object of study. As the result of this thesis, the writer finds that in this novel, the main character shows her culture through her daily lives and traditions that they still do to keep their descendants remembering their original culture even though they live in America. And from research conducted by the writer, there are five types of Korean cultural values in the novel P.S I Still Love You by Jenny Han that represent who Lara Jean. Its traditions, family collectivism value, cuisine, Korean beauty, and language are there.
