Abstract :
The influence of stress and discipline is necessary to analyze especially in Depati Hamzah General Hospital Pangkalpinang. Stress as the physical and and psychological response cannot be ignored because it will affect not only the dialy performace of staff but also their healt problems. Some causes are overloaded work, low saraly, and the unbalanced number of patients. Discipline is the first step to increase both staff?s work performance and the hospital it self such as obey the working time, comply the target of work, wear uniform, etc. The research method used is a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. The sampling method used probability sampling which was simple random sampling, teken from 67 peopl. Data collection technique ware literature study and field study. The data analysis technique used the validity and reliability, the classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, multiple correlation analysis, and hypothesis testing. Based on the analysis of coefficient of determination indicates that the contribution of the influence of stress and discipline to the staff?s work performance 4.17% and the rest is 58,3% influenced by other variables that are ignored or not researched yet. While based on hypothesis test obtained 0,000, this means that H0 rejected and H1, H2, and H3 is accepted, which means that there is significant relationship between stress and discipline of the work performance of employees.
