Abstract :
Various analytical models have been widely used to analyze the relationship between rainfall and climate parameters. One of the analysis models is to use the pearson correlation test and p-value test to obtain the correlation value and significance of the relationship between rainfall and climate parameters. This study aims to analyze the correlation between climate variables to rainfall intensity in the city of Pangkal Pinang using the pearson correlation analysis method and significance test (p-value). The method used in this study is quantitative method, namely pearson correlation analysis and p-value significance test. The result obtained is the highest correlation value, namely the correlation between rainfall and air humidity, which is 0.715. The lowest correlation value is the correlation between rainfall and air pressure, which is -0.275. The most influential climate parameters of the correlation value are air humidity, average air temperature, average maximum and minimum temperature. The significance value (p-value) for each climate parameter is almost the same, which is in the interval 0.000-0.001 where the significance value illustrates that the relationship of rainfall with each climate parameter is significant and can reject the null hypothesis.
