Abstract :
In this study, there are two statement of the problems stated. The problem are: a) what are the forms of Kayak Sasak at Selaparang ? b) what are the educational values of Kayak Sasak in east Lombok ? This study is descriptive qualitative qualitative since it is initiating to give description of forms and educational values of Kayak Sasak in east Lombok. The advantages of this writing are devoping the critical attitude ,understanding culture values that appear in Kayak Sasak especially ,and giving understanding about the values in literary work directly towardkayak sasak as local culture . The technique used in collecting data are interview ,documentation,and recording .The data were analyzed using descriptive analyzes technique . Data analysis shows that, the educational values contents in Kayak Sasak are : 1) Religious educational value ,it contents some lesson such as : thank fullness to God ,loving each other .2) Moral educational value, it contains as human’s moral ,and 3 ) Social educationalvalue,it contents some lesson such as : the attitude of humanity ,it contents the attitude of brotherhood ,and patient.
