Abstract :
This study aims to determine, analyze the types of student problems in learning
and the implementation of counseling that is applied to solve learning problems. This
research is a field research conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Tanjung Tiram in Batu Bara
Regency.
This research uses a qualitative approach, which means that research seeks to
collect data and various information and information obtained from the field by observing
the social situations carried out by students and students who experience problems in
learning.
The analysis found regarding the types of problems experienced by students at
the Al Washliyah Tanjung Tiram Private Madrasah Aliyah are; 1) Students Often Do Not
Enter Class, 2) Like To Excuse, 3) Not Doing Tasks Well, and 4) Incomplete Facilities
and Infrastructure at Madrasah Aliyah, resulting in frequent student negligence in
learning. To overcome this problem, this is where the supervisory teachers have a very
important role. In addition to the counseling teacher in this study, the class teachers also
participated in helping the counseling teacher as detectives for their students in each
class. Furthermore, which is the end of the findings of this study regarding the
implementation of guidance in solving learning problems applied at MAS Al Washliyah
implemented in the form of services that exist in counseling. Among them; group
counseling services, placement and distribution services, learning/content mastery
services and information and orientation services.
