Abstract :
The problem of this study is about the implementation of guidance counseling in
moral development of tenth grade students MAS Aisyiyah Binjai in the digital era. This
study aimed to investigate the moral issues at tenth grade students MAS Aisyiyah Binjai
in the digital era, the implementation of guidance counseling that conducted by teachers
as a counselor in moral development through the guidance counseling service.
This study is conducted using phenomenology study in qualitative research. The
sources of preliminary data in this study are the headmaster, teachers, and students of
MAS Aisyiyah Binjai. And the secondary data in this study is a reference from
counselor?s notebook and the document of school profile. For collecting data, the
researcher used observation as the method. For the data analysis, the researcher used
interactive model that consist of data reduction, data display and verification.
The result of this study showed that: (1) the moral issues of students MAS
Aisyiyah Binjai has been much better, (2) guidance counseling that has been conducted
effectively by the teachers, (3) behavior change is one of the obstacles on tenth students
moral development most certainly be affected by global flows, (4) the ways to
overcome to obstacles that happened on student moral development in digital era by
mutual cooperation among the school, parents and students for improving guidance
counseling service
