Abstract :
This research aims to determine the description of self-adjusting in college to non-Muslim students at Universitas Islam Riau (UIR). The study involved 292 non-Muslim UIR students who were selected using the cluster sampling technique. The data collection instrument used is a self-adjusting scale that is compiled by Permatasari (2017) consisting of 43 aitems that have been modified. Based on statistical analysis results can be concluded that the self-adjustment of non- Muslim students is under the category of medium score (37.32%). Analysis results based on the aspect, indicating that there is no significant mean score difference between each aspect of self-adjustment in college with the value of chi-square 1.401 and the value of ASYMP. Sig. of 0.705. If viewed by gender, the highest category is in moderate category with male scores of 37.79% and women with a score of 36.96%. Based on the results of the analysis of the Faculty of Psychology, FKIP, engineering, economics, and social and political sciences are in the medium category, but it is different from the Faculty of Agriculture where the highest category is in the low category with the score 36.25%.
