Development of Learning Media Using Powtoon Online Application on Social Arithmetic Material for Class VII SMP INDAH RATNA SARI NPM. 176410149 Thesis of Mathematics Education Study Program FKIP Islamic University of Riau. Supervisor: Endang Istikomah, S.Pd. M.Ed. ABSTRACT This research is a development research that aims to produce learning media using a valid online application Powtoon. This research uses the R&D development method with the Borg and Gall development model consisting of five stages (phases), namely: (1) Research and Information Collecting; (2) Planning (Planning); (3) Product Format Development (Develop Form of Product); (4) Product Validation (Main Product Validation); (5) Product Revision (Main Product Revision). The product of this research is in the form of learning media using the Powtoon online application. The research data collection instrument was in the form of a learning media validation sheet using the Powtoon online application. The product was validated by 2 lecturers of mathematics education at FKIP UIR and 1 teacher in the field of mathematics. This learning media contains a video of social arithmetic learning for class VII SMP. From the results of the study obtained the results of the validity of the learning media from the validator of 90.1% with Very Valid criteria. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that this development research produces learning media using the online application Powtoon on social arithmetic material for class VII SMP which has been tested for validity.
