Abstract :
The purpose of this research is to produce a mathematics learning tool in the form of Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) and Student Worksheet (LKPD) using the guided discovery method on the Circle material of class VIII Junior High School which has been tested for validity. This development research refers to the Research and Development (R&D) model which is modified into 6 stages, namely potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, and final product. The validation sheet was used as a data collection instrument. The data analysis technique used was validation data analysis from 3 validators consisting of 2 lecturers of the mathematics education study program FKIP UIR and 1 mathematics teacher at Kartika 1-5 Pekanbaru. The results of the RPP validation with the Guttman scale on the indicators of the completeness of the RPP components obtained a percentage of 100% with very valid criteria, while the results of the validity of the RPP with the Likert scale for other assessment indicators obtained a percentage of 81.8% with quite valid criteria. The results of the validation of the LKPD with the Guttman scale for the presentation requirements assessment indicator obtained a percentage of 100% with very valid criteria, while the results of the validity of the LKPD with the Likert scale for other assessment indicators obtained a percentage of 80.9% with quite valid criteria. The conclusion of this research is that mathematics learning tools have been obtained using the guided discovery method in the VIII SMP class circle material which has been tested for validity.
