Abstract :
Nowadays, entrepreneurship among teenagers is in high demand even a trend. Teenagers as businessmen have a great desire to capitalize on opportunities as entrepreneurs because of their innovative and creative capabilities. This research aims to determine self-efficacy and locus control of entrepreneurial intention. The subjects of this research were the students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Pekanbaru city which amounted to 205 people, using purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques used questionnaires consisting of a self-efficacy scale (20 items), locus control (34 items) and an entrepreneurial intention (14 items) adapted by researchers. The analysis in this study was a statistical analysis of CFA, descriptive and multiple regression. The analysis shows that there is a connection between self-efficacy and locus control of entrepreneurial intentions, as well as its contribution to entrepreneurial intention is 38,7 percent. Therefore, it is necessary to give training to improve self-efficacy and locus control in order to demonstrate their interest better in entrepreneurship.
