Abstract :
Learning motivation was needed for students, because student motivation will be create their activeness in learning and are expected to obtain high achievements. Full day school policies applied in any schools of senior high school level caused students have to studies all day long and worried to experience fatigue aware and decreases their motivation to learn. This study purposed was to describing students learning motivation in full day school at Peranap Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu District. The research sample was 224 students, consisted of 126 male students and 98 female students with simple random sampling technique. Data collection used learning motivation scale, then the data obtained were analyzed using description analysis. Based on the results of the analysis of this study, it can be concluded that overall learning motivation of full day school students is moderate. In terms of gender, male students learning motivation classified as moderate, and female students learning motivation also classified as moderate. In terms of average, male students have a higher level of learning motivation than female students.
