Abstract :
The Central Sumatra Basin has an area of about 103,500 Km2. The Central Sumatra Basin is separated from the North Sumatra Basin by the Asahan Highlands, while in the southern part it is separated by the Tigapuluh Mountains. This research was conducted to determine the qualitative and quantitative analysis of Well data based on the Petrophysical approach and to determine the modeling and distribution of shale Volume, Porosity, Water Saturation maps in the Well research area. Surface manifestations of rock formation units that pass through the study area from old to young include minas formations of old surface deposits and young surface deposits. The method used in working on this formation assessment data is descriptive method. Descriptive method is to explain the data used and then analyze the data. To achieve this method, several stages were carried out, namely the research stage, the literature study stage, and the data collection stage. KEGA field has 10 (ten) wells with the names KEGA 1, Kega 2, and so on. In conducting geological and petrophysical analysis, it is carried out based on the pattern from the resulting drilling log curve data description.
