Abstract :
This research area is located at KM 97-110 Tanjung Alai Village, XIII Koto Kampar District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province at coordinates 00°15'00.00" - 00° 19'40.36" North Latitude and 100°44'20.36" - 100°48 '40.36" East Longitude. This research was conducted using the gravity method in the form of topographic data and free air anomalies from the TOPEX satellite. This study aims to determine the distribution of the complete bouguer anomaly, regional anomaly and residual anomaly based on the interpretation of gravity data, then analyzed by first horizontal derivative (FHD) and second vertical derivative (SVD) using oasis montaj 8.3 software to determine the presence and type of subsurface faults. The complete bouguer anomaly value in the study area is 16.78 mGal to 22.25 mGal, the regional anomaly value is 18.36 mGal to 21.23 mGal and the residual anomaly value in the study area is -2.162 mGal to 1.274 mGal. The results of the SVD analysis show that the faults in the study area are normal fault types with a northwest-southeast trend with lithology in the fault area, namely sandstone and conglomerate.
