Abstract :
This study was conducted to determine the results of student activeness between using the Quis Team Type Active Learing learning model with the conventional method in economic subjects in class X IPS at SMA Negeri 3 Siak Hulu. The method used in this research is experimental, to determine the effect of a treatment on the research subject. The population in this study was class X IPS SMA Negeri 3 Si ak Hulu which consisted of 3 classes. The sample in this study was seen from the observations of students' pre-test activeness. From the observations of the students' pre-test activeness, they were analyzed statistically and determined that the X IPS1 class as the Experiment class and the X IPS2 class as the Control class. The data collection technique was taken from the observation of the activeness of the students who were tested with the independent t test technique after treatment in the experimental class by applying the Active Learing Learning Model Type Team Quis. Based on the analysis of the final data obtained from the Indenfendent t test, there is a value of t count -1.007 smaller than 1.199 with a significance value of 0.285> 0.05, so Ha rejected Ho accepted. Which means that there is no significant difference in the activeness of students in class X IPS1 who apply the Active Learing Model of the Quis Team Type with class X IPS2 using the conventional method in Economics at SMA Negeri 3Siak Hulu.
