Abstract :
This research was conducted in Sukajadi District of Pekanbaru. Related to this research, the object of this research is the Bag Shop Business in Sukajadi District of Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to find out whether the accounting application applied by the Tas Shop business in Sukajadi District of Pekanbaru is in accordance with the basic concept. The data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. The data collection method in this study is based on interviews and observations and the type of research used in this study is census research. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the application of accounting in the Tas Shop business in Sukajadi District of Pekanbaru is not in accordance with the basic accounting concepts, namely the basic concept of recording, the concept of business unity, the concept of time period, the concept of matching, the concept of business continuity.
