Abstract :
Climbing is an outdoor recreational activity which is generally done to relieve fatigue from the bustle of urban areas, or from crowds in general with the aim of being able to enjoy the beauty of nature. This activity can be carried out by various groups of people, ranging from groups of school students, university students, and other organizations, especially nature lover organizations. Augmented reality is a technology that has the ability to describe a certain process or simulation, which functions as an interactive medium in the learning process so as to improve student understanding, Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that adds virtual objects in a real environment, which allows users to interact in real-time. From the statement above, the authors are interested in developing augmented reality technology regarding the Android-based Augmented Reality Application for Climbing Equipment.
