Abstract :
This study aims to know the influence of Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) cooperative learning model towards the learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru in the academic year 2019/2020. This research is a quasi-experimental research (quasi-experimental design). The design used in this study was the design of the pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group. The population in this study were all students of class X SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru with a sample of class X IPA 6 as a class given the cooperative learning model type TAI and X IPA 3 as controls using conventional learning. The sampling technique using purposive sampling (sample consideration). Data collection took place from January 13, 2019 until February 19, 2020. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out using test techniques. Data were analyzed using inferential analysis. In this study the data are assumed to be normally distributed, therefore inferential analysis is carried out only on homogeneity and t-test. from the results of the study it was found that tcount = 2.53 and ttabel = 1.66, so tcount > ttabel. This means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that it can be denied about the learning outcomes of class X students of SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru by using the cooperative learning model of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type.
