Abstract :
Education for early childhood is already listed in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No.20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System Article 1 paragraph (14) and in Article 28 paragraph (3). Kindergarten education or PAUD is the level of education with the age of children aged 4 to 6 years, where at this age children gain skills and knowledge by learning and playing. The process of teaching and learning in kindergarten that only uses theme books, causing students to lack master of the material conveyed, for that it takes learning media that can increase the learning interest of students, especially in animal theme materials by grouping animals based on the type of food. This research uses prototype methods in the process of developing this learning media. With this learning media can attract the interest of learning students by learning while playing. From the results of the questionnaire there are 20 respondents stated that 80% of this learning media is good in implementing
