ABSTRACT THE EFFECT OF WORK MOTIVATION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT THE SEARCH AND RESCUE OFFICE(BASARNAS) PEKANBARU By: PUTRI NOVRITA 175210791 This study aims to determine the influence of work motivation on employee performance at the Pekanbaru Search and Rescue Office (BASARNAS). The population in this study was employees of the Pekanbaru Search and Rescue Office (BASARNAS) as many as 84 employee. While the sample is as many as 53 people representing from the population. Sampling using purposive sampling method. Types and data sources are primary and secondary data, while data collection techniques use questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used in this study is a simple linear regression test, t test and Determination (R2). The results of this study showed that work motivation positively affects the performance of employees at the Office of Search and Rescue (BASARNAS). The level of relationship between the two variables in the category is very strong, which means the ability of independent variables in describing dependent variables is already good
