Abstract :
Happiness is something that everyone wants to feel, including adolescent. This study aims to determine the correlation between family functioning and happiness on adolescents aged 15-18 years in Tanjung Medan Village, Tambusai Utara District, Rokan Hulu, with a sample of 230 people. The sampling technique in this study implies simple random sampling technique. While the data collection technique uses a scale of 35 items for family functioning scale and 27 items for the happiness scale. The study result uses Pearson product moment analysis with a correlation coefficient r value 0.363 and significant p of 0.000 (p <0.005), it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation between family functioning and happiness on adolescents. It means that the hypothesis in this study is accepted.
