Abstract :
This research aims to determine the effect of emotional regulation on quarter life crisis on students and uses quantitative research methods. The number of sample study University Islamic Riau in this study consisted of 255 students selected by the Accidental Sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a scale of emotion regulation consisting of 15 items and a quarter life crisis scale that consisit of 30 items compiled by the researcher. Data analysis used is a simple linear regression analysis. The results of the regression analysis show t= -2,505 with a significance value of 0.013 (p <0.05). The effective contribution of the emotional regulation variable to the quarter life crisis is about 2.4%, the remaining 97.6% which is influenced by other variables.
