Abstract :
The thesis with the title "Representation of Moral Values in Habibie and Ainun Films is the result of semiotic analysis research. There is a focus of the problem examined in this thesis, namely: How the moral representation in the film Habibie and Ainun To reveal this problem thoroughly and deeply, in this study a semiotic research analysis method is used with a critical approach, and data techniques are carried out by film supervisors Habibie and Ainun Then take a scene related to moral values, which is useful for providing facts and data which are then analyzed critically with the rationale. Analysis of t he research, researchers found many moral values consisting of social care, responsibility, national spirit, religious, respect for achievement. The results of the analysis using the analysis theory of Ferdinand De Saussure. Signs contained in the film a re in the form of moral values, the object in the form of the Habibie character who is the main character, and the reference reference in the form of moral values carried out by the Habibie character, a sign that will have a positive impact on the commun ity / film lovers.
