Abstract :
This research was conducted to see whether the teaching experience and the effect on the professionalism of teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras. When this research was conducted in July 2020. This type of research is proprietary. The population of this study were SMA 1 Pangkalan Kuras teachers who connected 48 teachers. The technique of determining the sample is purporsive sampling. In this study using a questionnaire (questionnaire) and documentation. The data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis, normality, multicollinearity, linearity, and multiple regression analysis. Hypothesis testing is done by partial test (T), simultaneous test (F) and determinant coefficient (R2). The results of the partial regression coefficient test (T) show that (1) teaching experience (X1) does not have a partial effect on teacher professionalism (Y). It is known that tcount -779> ttable 2.014 from the data above, it can be seen that sig 0.440 <0.05 means that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. (2) income (X2) does not have a partial effect on teacher professionalism (Y). It can be seen that tcount -287> ttable 2.014 from the data above that sig 0.775 <0.05 means that Ho is accepted and Ha is rejected. (3) teaching experience and income seen from the F test are positive together but do not have a significant effect on teacher professionalism at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras. The percentage of the contribution of the influence of the independent variable (teaching experience and income on teacher professionalism) was 8.9%, while the remaining 91.9% was influenced by other variables outside the research variables.
