Abstract :
This study aims to determine the level of physical fitness of male and female students of class VII5 SMP 6 Siak Hulu Kampar. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. Data collection techniques used were tests and measurements. The population in the study was 30 people. The sample in this study were male and female students of class VII5 of SMP Negeri 6 Siak Hulu Kampar, totaling 30 students, 16 male students and 14 female students. Sampling in this study using a total sampling technique. The instrument in this study was the Indonesian Physical Fitness Test (TKJI) for boys and girls aged 13-15 years. It can be concluded that with an average yield of 10,43 (10-13) with a percentage of 75,00%, the male students are classified as poor. Then at the level of physical fitness of female students It can be concluded that with an average yield of 10,57 (10-13) with a percentage of 57,14%, the female students are included in the less classification.
