Abstract :
This study aims to determine the aesthetic value of the Air Janggi dance - Stepping in at the Admiral's Dance Training Center in Pekanbaru, Riau Province. Dance Air Janggi - Minih Step is a new dance claim in 2015 which has the meaning of Water Janggi is a whirlpool of water that is river, lake, strait, the sea that flows continuously without stopping while the steps are the same the case with such a variety of movements of picking up trunks which means to be careful. So dance intentions Air Janggi - Minute This step is a phenomenon that demands to human caution to step in doing all the work and hold it against the waves of life. This dance describes everyday life from people who live around the banks of the river. Formulation of the problem in this study are: How is the Aesthetic Value of Janggi - Minihih Water Dance Steps by Iwan Irawan Permadi at the Dance Training Center. Admiral Pekanbaru Riau Province. This study uses qualitative methods and research subjects totaling 4 people as speakers. Data collection techniques used that is, observation, interview, documentation. The theory used is Darsono's theory Sony Kartika (2007: 89), beauty is basically a number of basic qualities certain contained in a matter. Research results on the Aesthetic Value of Janggi Water Dance - Stepping in by Iwan Irawan Permadi at the Laksemana Dance Training Center Pekanbaru Province can be seen from the value of beauty, that is unity seen from the dance elements namely motion, music, costumes and cosmetology, harmony (harmony) between the same motion of music and costumes used, the balance (balance) can be seen from the dance elements themselves namely motion, space, rhythm in the dance itself, the same symmetry of floor design between left and right, music games with different dynamics, and resistance (contrast) seen from motion and also the music that is played.
