Abstract :
This research is motivated by the low level of mastery of Islamic song vocal techniques. This study aims to determine the vocal technique of Islamic songs in the Annajah group in Sialang Kubang Village, Perhentian Raja District, Kampar Regency, Riau Province. This research is an action research. The subjects of this study were 6 vocalists of Annajah in Sialang Kubang village. Data collection techniques used were observation techniques, interview techniques, documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used in this study was descriptive qualitative. The results showed that there was an Arabic vocal technique in this group. This can be seen from the rehearsal and performance of the Annajah group by performing shalawat songs using vocal techniques. Based on the results of observations, interviews and documentation, it can be concluded that the Annajah group has used Islamic song vocal techniques with Arabic vocal techniques.
